The accommodation was excellent throughout and the surroundings were wonderful.
The joining instructions could have been clearer. It was a bit difficult to find the lane leading to the cottages at first.

The cottage was beautifully decorated and had a great location for exploring nearby attractions. It was a short trip to both Scarborough and Whitby, which made it convenient for day trips. The cottage was also equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Our double bed felt a little too short, and our feet kept catching the metal poles at the end. It was a bit uncomfortable and disrupted our sleep.

Stayed at these beautiful cottages for my Birthday and was not disappointed. The owners have put a lot of work into both the cottages and den, evident by the beautiful setting and clean cottage. From the patio, you can see the sea and two donkeys in the field in front. Everything was brilliant, from the well-appointed kitchen to the cozy lounge area. The beds were comfy, and the bathroom and shower were excellent. The owners went the extra mile with lovely Christmas touches, making our first Christmas away from home unforgettable.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

A beautifully restored cottage with stunning views of the sea. The cottage was well-appointed, with two WC's and an excellent bathroom. The owners went the extra mile with lovely Christmas touches, making it a perfect holiday getaway. The kitchen had everything needed, and the lounge area was comfortable and cosy.
The joining instructions could have been clearer, as it took some time to find the lane to the cottages. Additionally, the shower was a bit snug, especially for those on the larger side.

This hidden gem offers a peaceful and secluded location, surrounded by rolling meadows and woodland, with stunning views of the sea. the cottages are beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and equipped with underfloor heating, ensuring a cosy and comfortable stay. the owners are warm and attentive, providing clear directions, local recommendations, and even a welcome tea and cake. the bonus of a games room with pool and football table is a delightful addition. You'll feel refreshed and rejuvenated after a stay here.
It would be even better if there was a shaving socket in the bathroom for convenience.

The owners were welcoming and attentive, providing all the necessary details for the cottage. The cottage was clean and well-equipped for a week or two stay. The presence of goats and donkeys added charm, and my dog was captivated by the goats. The games room provided great entertainment in the evenings. The location was excellent for exploring the surrounding area, including the picturesque Robin Hood's Bay.
Felt safe, nothing was too much trouble.
